The History of the German Shepherd
The German shepherd dates back to 1899 and was developed by the man of curiosity: Captain Max von Stephanitz . He is a German who aimed to create a breed of intelligent, brave, powerful, and adaptive dog. he blended a variety of shepherd dogs. After retiring from the military, he began towards his passion. he studied breeding techniques. he observed many breeds of gorgeous flock dogs, dogs with high activity, intelligent, brave and capable. But later He was struck with the thought that there was not a single dog with all quality. One day, he visited a dog show where a wolf-looking dog grabbed his attention. he took him home and named as Hektor Linksrhein and later changed to Horand v Grafeth. After the Horand was seen with a great physique, and intelligence Stephanitz formed a company- the Verein fur Deutsche schäferhunde, for descendants of Horand. he already knew that the future of dogs was in military and police. so, he contacted the government generally to use his breed. during ...
